"What defines the human spirit? What does it take to become a TRAILBLAZER? Each and every one of us has the power to forge our own destiny. To dig deep, take hold of our inner fire, and courageously set out on a path never before travelled. For the 46th LEAF Festival, each artist selected has taken up the torch of this great call. They are visionaries, trailblazers, musical pioneers… guiding listeners on a journey of unveiling our true human potential one note at a time. This Spring, prepare to embark on an odyssey of inner & outer discovery both on and off the stage. Adventure Awaits! We’ll see you at Lake Eden." ~ Ehren Cruz, LEAF Performing Arts Director
For 23 years, each May & October an intergenerational family of 12,000 people join together upon the beautiful Lake Eden grounds to experience the power music, art and culture has to transform lives, strengthen community, and foster unity. LEAF Festival takes place on the site of the old Historic Black Mountain College with a stunning array of rolling hills, lakes, streams, and mountain beauty on hundreds of acres of comfortable camping grounds. LEAF scours the globe for artists, musicians, performers and facilitators that are not only masters of their craft, but who also care deeply for the power of arts education and family engagement.
